Samsung universal print driver3

Hi!

I bought a Samsung printer last autumn and my pc has been failing to install an update about it (Samsung universal print driver3) ever since!

It disappears for sometime from Windows Updates but it is back whenever I use the printer again.

How can I install it once for all or never have it in my way?

    Hello Sahil,

    The device I bought is a Samsung Printer Xpress M2020 series.

    I did the installation through its cd-rom and downloaded the app about it but the update kept failing anyway, so I decided to uninstall both: the printer works perfectly well even without them!

    I also ran the Windows Update Troubleshooter but to no avail.

    I will visit Samsung's support website and download the latest driver available for the printer manually as you said and I'll let you know.

    • What is the model number of your Samsung printer?
    • Have you installed any software update for the same?

    I would suggest you to visit Samsung's support website and download the latest driver available for the printer manually and check if the issue persists.

    Search your printer model and check for the firmware or software updates for the same.

    If the issue persists,

    Run the Windows Update Troubleshooter

    Hello Sahil,

    I've just updated my printer on line and so the Samsung universal print driver3 about it has finally passed from "important" to "optional" in Windows Updates section: I really hope it won't come out again failing to install as it has been doing for months!
