Blue Tint in one of the monitors, how to fix it?

Original Title: Blue Tint

I have two monitors.  One is the correct color but the other developed a blue tint.  I changed the resolution to 1920x1080 and no change.  So I purchased a new monitor and when it was installed and turned on that monitor has the same blue tint and the other one is still fine.

What can I do now?  My old monitor is probably ok if I knew how to fix it.  Please help!

This issue might occur due to improper connection or incompatible/corrupt display adapters. Make sure that the connection of the cable connection is not broken.

Let’s follow below mentioned steps and check if that helps:

Method 1: Hardware and devices troubleshooter

The built-in hardware and devices troubleshooter can automatically detect and fix most of the incorrect settings and errors that could cause issues with hardware. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if there is any issue with the display adapter. Refer top these steps:

    1. Open Control Panel
    2. Click on Troubleshooting and select the view all option on the left pane.
    3. Click on Hardware and devices troubleshooter and follow the prompts.

    Mtehod 2:

Step 1: Update the Display driver.

Please follow the steps given below to update the display driver.

    1. Press Windows key + X key when you are at desktop.
    2. Select Device Manager.
    3. Find and double-click Display driver from the left panel to uninstall
    4. Right-click the device, and click Update Driver Software.
    5. Select Search Automatically for Updated Driver Software.

Step 2: Update Driver Software from the Manufacturer’s website:

If the issue occurs due to corrupt Graphic/Display Drivers, then you may refer to the manufactures’ website and install the latest Graphic/Display drivers for the device.
