how to disable windows defender virus protection. I want to use Webroot secureanywhere instead. It is already installed. I don't know how to enable on access scanning webroot secure anywhere in windows 10. Please help.

Check if your Webroot product is compatible with Windows 10 and if a newer version is offered.
Sometimes an uninstall/reinstall/reboot works to disable Windows Defender.
Try: Windows Defender - Turn On or Off in Windows 10
