    Hello All,

On the current V23 version of Sage 50, Running on Windows 10 Build 1703 (Creators) do this:

    Right click icon

    Compatibility

"Override high DPI scaling behavior." CHECK THIS

Set the dropdown box to "System"

    Perfect.

    Nick

I have the same problem but I am NOT running a home cinema as MethylPropyl unhelpfully suggests - I have a new Dell laptop with high res screen because of the graphics and web design work that I undertake, alongside running the Payroll for my 25 staff - which I often but not always complete at home - why should I have to run a second computer JUST for Sage - given the prices that they charge for software it is not unreasonable that they should keep their software up to date as technology develops and advances.

Perhaps MethylPropyl would prefer employers still to use an abacus, fill in the HMRC forms by hand, and pay all staff weekly in cash?

Thanks Nigel for pointing me in the right direction

    In Windows 10

Right Click icon that starts Sage

    Select Properties

    Select Compatability

Tick "Disable Display Scaling on High DPI Settings"

    Apply and OK

    This worked for me

I have the same issue with using QuickBooks on 3200 x 1800 resolution screen Lenovo laptop. What is it with the accounting software makers? I am considering a ledger book as an upgrade...

Sage deny any problem. They blame it on the computer. I have Sage Cover and got no help at all on this problem. The display is unacceptable on Sage Payroll and Line 50. They say change resolution but 1. this makes no difference

    1. That means all the other programs on my computer display incorrectly.

They have a problem with their software and the latest high resolution monitors but Sage being as they are they don't have the technical ability to correct these problems so pass the blame onto the consumer. When I told the Sage support I was using Windows 8.1 I was told they could not help as they are only trained on Widows 7. Unbelievable when Windows 8 has been out for nearly 2 years!

Shame on Sage for the unacceptable low quality technical support.  Time to say goodbye to Sage and go with QuickBooks.  :)
