Ya i know how to restore my pc but i was wondering if there is any other way to solve this problem as i have lots of software and games installed in my pc and i don't want to lose those.
Continuous press of keys not working
I have a lenovo flex 2 laptop.
The problem is continuous press of laptop keys does not work. Suppose when i am browsing through a web page when i continuous press the the down key it will only go one step down but wont scroll down completely, but i have connected a external keyboard and that works fine. The continuous press of every laptop keys does not work.
Is this a software problem ....please help!!!

Thanks for the reply, but unfortunately both the methods didn't work. I am sure this is not a hardware problem as i recently found that while playing games the continuous press of keys worked properly but after i quit the game and go back to the desktop the problem comes back.
To give you a more clear picture of the problem, the continuous press that i mentioned here is continuous holding down of key not continuous tapping of key

I would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:
Method 1: Run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter and check.
Follow the steps to run the troubleshooter:
a) Press Windows key + C on your keyboard to show the Charms bar.
b) Click on Search, type Troubleshooting and click Troubleshooting under Settings.
c) Click on View All.
d) Select Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter.
e) Click next to Run the Troubleshooter.
Method 2:
Update the keyboard drivers from the device manager and check.
Steps:
a. Press Windows key + X
b. Select device manager.
c. Double click on Mice and other pointing devices.
d. Right click on the device listed and select Update Driver Software.
e. Follow the on-screen instructions and restart the computer after the drivers are installed.
