    Hi,

    Normally you plug the microphone in and it sets itself up.

    If needed Right Click on Speaker in lower right corner - Recording Devices - Right Click the mic and Properties

    and make sure it is Enabled and other settings are correct.

    Did it come with any software, documentation or help?

    If needed check with it's maker's support.

    That's gotta be the most unhelpful, laziest attempt at a reply I've ever seen. OP asked for help with using the Rock Band mic on his PC, not for setting up the game to play on a console. I logged in to bump this 6-year-old thread just to point how how stupid your reply was.
