I have a HP DVD557 that has been used a total of less than 10 times. I want it to work with windows 8.1.
Anyone have a suggestion???

Hi,
HP supplies the Drivers for their Hardware.
You need the Drivers to make the Computer and HP's Hardware work together.
HP stopped Support and supplying Drivers for that Hardware at Vista.
