PnP driver not found on toshiba laptop using windows 7 home premium.

Description

Windows detected a new device attached to your computer, but could not find the driver software it needs to make the device usable. Each device manufacturer typically includes driver software of a CD that comes with the device, or as a download from its website. The hardware ID of your device is ACPI\TOS1901.

I AM NOT SURE WHAT THIS DRIVER DOES HOWEVER MY I CANT INSERT AND COPY TO IT OR PLAY ONE EITHER.  THE DISC DRIVE DOES NOT SHOW UP.  IS THIS RELATED?

    I understand that you are facing the issue on PNP driver.

    I will certainly help you with this.

    Some devices do not support USB 3.0, try using a USB 2.0 port instead.

    I would suggest you to go through the below methods:

    Method 1: Try to run the hardware and devices troubleshooter:

    a. Press Windows key+R.

    b. Type control and press enter.

    c. Click on Troubleshooting.

    d. On the left pane, click on view all.

    e. From the list, click on Hardware and Devices and run the troubleshooter:

    Method 2: Try to perform clean boot:

    A clean boot is performed to start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This helps eliminate software conflicts that occur when you install a program or an update or when you run a program in Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7, or Windows Vista. You may also troubleshoot or determine what conflict is causing the problem by performing a clean boot.
