Changing the network adapter to use 2.4GHz channel instead of 5.0GHz

Hey everyone,

I've been using Connectify.me to share wifi to my PS4 through a VPN client. It works well other than Connectify saying it's in 5.0Ghz mode. The PS4, however, cannot connect to this as it will only connect to 2.4GHz. After a little bit of searching, I found apparently the network adapter can be made to only use 2.4GHz in Device Manager>Network Adapters>Broadcom 802.11abgn Wireless SDIO Adapter>Properties>Advanced. However, I cant seem to find an option for it to change preference from 5.0GHz to 2.4GHz.

I have used a friend's laptop to share the connection successfully - without the 5.0GHz error - so the issue isn't with the router.

I'm using an ASUS X205T notebook and the network adapter is Broadcom 802.11abgn Wireless SDIO Adapter.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Here's what it should look like if you can switch between frequencies.

So, this option doesn't appear, I guess it's not possible. Thank you for the answer!
