    Hi Guys,

This issue has nothing to do with your computer model. I own a MSI GT2S 6QE that has the same problem.

    It's Windows 10's WDI problem.

Same wireless chip, same problem as your, emailed to Killer and here the response:

"The Windows 10 version of our driver does not support the "Hosted Network" feature because Microsofts own WDI driver does not yet support this. Microsoft is having all wireless vendors move to the WDI model, thus this feature will not work on Windows 10 drivers until after Microsoft has decided to implement it in their base wireless WDI driver.

You can load the Win8.1 drivers via device manager from our INF download.

This solved my problem on a Dell XPS 9560 (2017).

The above link is dead, but the INF package is still available under the Support section of www.killernetworking.com

    Download Inf Package, Unzip.

Uninstall the Killer Suite from add/remove programs

    Uninstall the Killer wireless driver

Reinstall driver, choose location, navigate to Killer Suite > Windows 8.1

That's everything about my pc really. If you have the same type of alienware 15 r2 pc as me im guessing this is the manufacturers fault. It is for them to come up for a fix and not us.

    Hello Austin,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

We do understand your concern and we will be happy to help you regarding this.

Please try the following steps and check if that resolves the issue:

Uninstall and Reinstall the Network Card Drivers.

    1. Right click on Start menu.
    2. Click on “Device Manager” from that list.
