Alien VS Predator DirectX11 crashes on Windows 10 Pro 64x (Fresh installation)

Hello everyone,

I'm having problems with running Aliens VS Predator in DX11 mode on my PC. It runs perfectly fine in DX9 mode though.

If I start the game in DX11 it runs just fine. When I start a campaign or multiplayer match it all loads fine too. Cut scenes are shown perfectly fine as well. But as soon as the loading is finished I get an crash to desktop.

I'm running the game on Windows 10 Pro 64x and with an AMD R9 280x with driver version '15.30.1025.1001 - Crimson Edition'

So if anyone has any suggestions, they'd be more than welcome.

    From the issue description, I understand that you are facing issues with running Alien VS Predator DirectX11 on the computer.

    You might be facing this issue due to the incompatibility of the game with Windows 10 also. So I suggest you to install the game in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

    Now, to install in Compatibility Mode, follow these steps:

    a. Locate the executable file (.exe file) for the driver installation program.

    b. Right-click the file, and then click Properties.

    c. In the Package Name Properties dialog box, click the Compatibility tab.

    d. Click to select the Run this program in compatibility mode for check box, click Windows 8with which it is compatible with in the Run this program in compatibility mode for list, and then click OK.

    e. Double-click the executable file to start the installation program.

    You may ensure that the latest version of the game is being used.

    If issue still persists, I suggest you to perform Clean Bootand check if it helps:

    Placing your system in Clean Boot state helps in identifying if any third party applications or startup items are causing the issue. You need to follow the steps from the article mentioned below to perform a Clean Boot.**** ****
