hello,

I don't understand the display settings very well in Windows 7. I have my laptop set to "extend displays", when I am showing a powerpoint presentation everything works great and I can see the presentation on my laptop screen and my audience can see it on the projector (ppt 2016) however if I want to switch out of the ppt and show a browser window with a video for instance, or if I want to show a video in windows media player I cannot. The only thing shown on the projector is a blank picture of my desktop background. sometimes I can get this to work again if I unplug the projector and plug it back in, other times not. any ideas for me as to why this doesnt work and how can I fix it? thank you

I would suggest you to go through the below methods:

Method 1: Try to set the monitor again to pc screen and again switch to extend display:

    1. Press Windows key+P.
    2. Click on pc screen only.
    3. Again press Windows key+P and select extend display and try to drag the browser to the extend display.
