BIOS Boot Error "ERROR 0271" and "WARNING 0251"

I'm Starting on my Toshiba C660 Laptop

I'm get this Error Message

ERROR 0271: Check date and time settings.

WARNING 0251: System CMOS Checksum bad - Default configuration used.

======================================================

Please Help!

    Hi,

    Have you checked the time/Date settings to make sure they are correct?

    If after you set the correct Date/Time in Windows and shut down then restart your machine the date/time reverts back to say the year 2012/2014 etc, you have a failed CMOS Battery in the Motherboard.

    They cost about $5 and are easy to replace.
