- Solution v1: From the Desktop -
- Look on the bottom, right-hand side of you screen (on your taskbar) for an icon that looks like a Stopwatch (it will usually be to the left of the date & time). This is your FilterKeys notification icon.
- Double-click it and a window will open.
- Un-check the "Turn on Filter Keys" check-box
- At the bottom of the window, hit "Apply" and "OK"
- Done
- Solution v2: Through Folder Paths -
- From the Start Menu, go to the Control Panel
- In the upper right-hand corner, change View By to "Large icons"
- Click on Ease of Access Center > Make the keyboard easier to use > Set up Filter Keys
- Un-check the "Turn on Filter Keys" check-box
- At the bottom of the window, hit "Apply" and "OK"
- Done
