Chrome Cast for Windows 7

I am trying to download Chrome Cast for Windows 7 from the Windows Store but can't find anything but a bunch of other apps.  What's the right search term or location?

    There is no such thing as a "Windows Store" for Windows 7.  The store is something new for Windows 8 onward.  So to get Chrome Cast software on Windows 7, you'll have to get it directly from the Google Chrome Cast website.

    Thanks for the clarification.  Unfortunately Google Chrome sends me to their app store which tells me that Windows apps are not available there and to go to the Windows Store. Sign.

    Try this out, I think this is the config software you need: https://www.google.com/chromecast/setup/  (other than just the chromecast extension for your Google chrome browser)
