    Hi,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Community.

I understand that you want to rip the DVD. I will try to help you with this.

I would like to let you know that when you copy music, pictures, and videos from your PC to a blank CD or DVD, it's called "burning”. When you copy music, pictures, and videos from a CD or DVD to your PC, it's called "ripping”. You can use Windows Media Player in Windows 8.1 to do both.

    Article for reference.

I want one that is 100% safe and 100% free. I don't want one that will put a water mark on this video. I tried using "VLC" and it won't rip the whole DVD and I don't know how it works.

How do I rip a Whole DVD on VLC?

Cos when I rip a dvd on VLC it only does part of it. It is 44 minutes long the first title and it only rips like 3 minutes on of the title. I want to rip the whole title one and the whole title two. I don't know what to put the "Chapter" as and  the "Title" as.
