I had the same problem. Searched my entire computer, found absolutely no mention of anything "Astromenda..."

Read a lot of advice, most of didn't come close to helping. Finally found the answer by resetting the Google Chrome settings.

    1.

    start Google Chrome.

    1. Click Settings (in upper right hand corner).
    2. Under Chrome click Settings.
    3. In the settings window under On Startup, click Set Pages.
    4. This opens up a list of search engines, which includes Astromenda.com.
    5. Click on Atromenda, which highlights it and provides and x box.
    6. Click on the X, and Astromenda is deleted. .
    7. In the Search Settings window, select Manage Search Engines, delete Astromenda and pickwhatever search engine you want, and click Make Default.

    9.Click done

    For me, that worked well.

If your Chrome is hijacked by astromenda, you can go to the setting page and reset your homepage and search engine. Scroll down the page until you see Appearance section, and check Show Home button, and click Change, then remove astromenda.com.

When you remove Astromenda from your computer you must also uninstall a program called "Clear Think" also. It is just one more additional step you must use.

I down loaded Astromenda when I installed a program called DVD Flick. A program that creates DVDs. Is that where you got this program?
