Hello,

Thank you for posting on Microsoft Forum.

I understand that you have removed a registry component accidently.

Redirection subnodes in the registry tree are created automatically by the WOW64 component using the name Wow6432Node. As a result, it is essential not to name any registry key you create Wow6432Node.

You should always take a backup of registry before you modify any settings in registry. For more help refer to the link below.

As of now to resolve your problem, we can try to do a system restore to a date prior to the date you have made changes to computer.

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/What-is-System-Restore#1TC=windows-7

***System Restore disclaimer:***When you use System Restore to restore the computer to a previous state, programs and updates that you installed are removed.

I hope this information helps. Please reply us back if any further issue with Windows, we’ll be glad to assist you.

    Hi Sarandeep,

I accidentally deleted Wow6432Node and after that i am not able to login in windows 7 Home basic.

I tried the following methods but No Luck so far:

    1. Use advance boot options and try to startup repair
    2. System Restore

Both options failed and i have the error on system restore, Wow6432 registry deleted and cannot complete the restore setup

Any help ? More importantly i have to save my all data in C drive

    Thanks,

    Jhon
