Hi - Probably not... I'd need to know the model of your car stereo to be certain, but most car audio systems only play audio CD discs - although some later models will play mp3 files burned to a data CD, but not AFAIK dvd discs.. Check your manual if you know where to find it (I doubt I'd have a clue where mine is!) - but failing that, if you know the make and model you should be able to check online. Cheers Ric.
burning music to dvd-r to play in car
Hello to all,
I only have a supply of dvd-r's at the moment and before I end up trashing them all; is it possible to burn music to a dvd-r that can be played on my 2010 car stereo? I would be using Windows Media Player. My OS is Windows 10.
If it is possible, can someone direct me to an "I'm a dummy" instructional site.

Hi & many thanks. The hubby was given some dvd-r disks and was told it could be down. I'm sure someone has the knowledge but after I sent 2 to 'coaster heaven', I reprieved the rest from a similar fate and shall use them for their intended purpose.
Cheers
