Error 1721. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support or package vendor

Hello,

I'm trying to install Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT) software in a computer, but 1721 error keeps showing, even after I installed windows installer cleanup tool and used it for disable one of the 2 antivirus in this computer (not my computer). 

As so, I ask the comunity how can I solve this problem and install SIPT software?

    As per the description, you are experiencing issue with error 1721: “there is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support or package vendor” while installing Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT) on the system.

    I certainly understand your concern and appreciate all your efforts in trying to fix this issue.

    I would suggest you to try the following methods and check if that helps.

    Method 1:

    I would also suggest you to check if the Windows installer service is running correctly. To check follow these steps: 

    1. Press Windows key +R, type “services.msc” and press enter.
    2. In the services window, locate Windows Installer and check if it is running.
    3. Right click and select properties, set the startup type to automatic.
