    1. I don't think that I've setup my windows to conflict with BO II, I was playing it fine but until latest updates that ruined it so that's why I said its Windows fault.
    2. BO II Campaign, Zombies run without no crash/issue and any other game.
    3. I tried re-installing, repairing, complete wipe out of game files, VC++, flushing steam config, steam, copying the game from my backup external hard-drive. same files works in my Laptop which runs Windows 8.1.
    4. the game crashes immediately when I just run it. it shows no error/slashes nothing it crash.
    5. I don't have anything that could conflict with the game nor any chrome extensions, I don't keep an anti-virus as soon I run a check up once a while I completely uninstall it because of it conflicts with many games also because I know how to keep my PC virus clean from external USB drivers I only installed anti-virus twice second time when this started happening.
    6. Specs:
    • Motherboard: ASUS SABERTOOTH MARK II
    • Intel Core-i5 4430
    • EVGA GTX 970 SSC+ AC 2.0+
    • 8GB RAM
    • 3TB WD Hard-drive with 500GB Seagate
    1. Single Monitor

    Thanks again :)

I don't have BOps 2, but BOps  just loaded in  multiplayer, BF4 is good too.

Why an update would affect only one game in multiplayer mode I don't know.

    • No changes made in Nvidia Control Panel before the crashing began ?

    -  I don't really quite understand the new Windows Update regime.

When I look in Programs and Features only some of the updates that are listed in Settings >

View your update history are shown. The two most recent Windows updates on my machine (build 10586) -

KB3152599 (May 12) does not come up in P&F when I click on uninstall updates, but  KB3156421 (May 11)

does, so it looks like you can't install just any update you choose ? Big Brother MS...

    • Because you can't uninstall all suspect updates, I expect the only option would be to use a System Restore

from before the time of whatever update you believe caused your problem With BOps 2 ?

"I don't keep an anti-virus as soon I run a check up once a while I completely uninstall it because of it

    conflicts with many games "

I've often read about AV's causing issues, particularly Norton, Kaspersky and McAfee, so I do sometimes

recommend disabling to verify the AV is not causing problems, but I've never had an issue with Avast

(been using the free version since '04 ). This is the only software I use that is allowed to

do automatic updates and it is always on.

    Hi,

We understand the inconvenience caused and will assist you.

The issue might be caused due to compatibility issues of the game with Windows 10. So, I suggest you to install the game in compatibility mode by following the steps provided below and check if it helps.

    1. Download the game from the manufacturer’s website and save it on your local disk.
    2. Right click on the setup file of the game and select “Properties”.
    3. Select “Compatibility” Tab.
    4. Place a check mark next to**“Run this program in Compatibility mode”** and select operating system from the drop down list.
    5. Let the game install and then check thefunctionality.

Hope this helps. Keep us posted on the status for further assistance.

I gather you have already inquired on the Steam forums and they suggested C++ . Why they would I don't know.

Running the Steam  'verify integrity of game cache' tool is always a good starting point though.

"this issue is not a game related issue nor steam, it is windows."

How have you come to this  conclusion ?

    • Well, maybe if there is something in the way you have your Windows setup, or a software

conflict you could stretch the definition of  "it is Windows"

    • Do all games fail to run, or crash, or do whatever this game is, or is not doing ?
    • What fixes have you already tried and what exactly is, or is not happening ?

Include any other details  you think may be relevant.

    • Is whatever problem you are having happening in both single and multiplayer ?

The crash report  mentions multiplayer stopped working - At what point does it crash  ?

Are you able to play other games on line ?

    • Do you have other Windows, Programs or Browsers running/open while trying to play the game ?

Could your Anti-virus or Firewall be blocking the game ?

    • What are your system specifications, including brand and model graphics processor  ?
    • Single or multi-monitor ?

Unfortunately there is no option to download the game from manufacturer website except the download provided by Steam, still I tried compatibility  but no luck.
