I have connected 3 monitors. One by HDMI, another by DP and last one is the eDP panel. Initially it is in single mode. Then right click on the desktop and select Select Resolution. There is no way to enable 3 dsiplay clone mode by OS page. Is that an Win7 OS behavior?

Hi Deepa,

If they have the right setup and your graphics cards can handle the 3 monitors, then you should see the following behavior:

Why is my desktop automatically duplicated on all displays?

A mirrored desktop is the default display setting for multiple displays. If you don't choose how you want your desktop to appear in the New Display Detected dialog box, your desktop is automatically duplicated in each display.

From article http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Multiple-monitors-frequently-asked-questions

Also, from another article:

You can choose to mirror, or duplicate, your desktop on all displays

This answer does not answer the question about three monitors.

How can we clone across three (3) monitors?http://www.displaylink.com/support/ticket.php?id=283la

It's not possible to mirror more than two monitors per DisplayLink Support:

I have used a HDMI splitter and duplicated the screen 1 and 2. So basically the splitter is transmitting the signal in two external monitors

    Hi,

You can connect 4 monitors on Windows 7. I would suggest you to see the following link:

‘Work and play better with multiple monitors’

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/work-and-play-better-with-multiple-monitors

    http://www.microsoft.com/athome/organization/twomonitors.aspx

Also refer the following link for more information.

Requirements: Two PCIe slots, two high power dual head video cards, four matching monitors, four DVI cables also you may have to use Ultramon software too.
