Hi,

I've installed a brandnew HP Color Jet Pro M252dw with it's original drivers ( on DVD ) ! All is working well, but when I will print 2 pages of an XLSX-file upon 1 page, the only print I received is a page with this remaks :

PCL XL Error

Subsystem: IMAGE

Error: ExtraData

File Name: cheetraster.c

Line Number: 883

that's very strange , because from the same xlsx-file I can print all sheets on 1 page !!!

Do somebody can help me ?

I'm working with Win7 Home Premium 64bits, all Windows Updates are uptodate, and the drivers of my new printer are those from the DVD delivered with the laserprinter.

In advance thanks for the help.

Greetings.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

You may want to repair Microsoft Office program and check.

    a. Open the Microsoft Office application that the corrupted file was created in.

    b. Click on "File," "Open" and select the "Open and Repair" option.

    c. Select the corrupted file and click on the "Repair" button. The software will automatically try to scan and repair the complete file. This could take several minutes. If the file is repaired, it will automatically open. If it doesn't continue to the next step.

    d. Go back to "Open and Repair." Select your file and then click on "Extract Data" option. Microsoft Office will read the file and present you a list of data it is able to read.

    e. Copy and paste the data from the screen into a new file. For example, if the file was from Excel, the number data will be presented on-screen. Some of it may be disorganized. Copy and paste the data you need to manually repair the corrupt file.

    f. Go to "File," "Info" and "Manage Versions." If the "Auto Save" option is turned on in Microsoft Office, you can recover a previous version of the file.

    g. Click on "Recover Unsaved Documents" under the "Manage Versions" menu. Select the matching document from the list and open it. Some of the data may be missing, but the majority of it will still be there.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Neha,

First many thanks for your advice.

In the meanwhile I received a "optional Windows Update" for my printer. I installed it, ... and than the result was worse ! I couldn't open word or excel, I always received an "error-msg", so thanks the restorepoint, I went back to the previous situation, ... and VERY BIG MYSTERY ... I can print now 2 pages on 1 sheet ! How this is now possible, I don't know.

In any case, thanks for your help, and I keep your mail, if the problem is coming back.

    Regards
