Version 3.01 of the standard for SD cards is mandatory for microSDHC and microSDXC cards labeled as UHS-I. This refers to the buss speed of the card.

This means any SDHC or SDXC UHS-I card meets this standard.

SDHC and SDXC just refers to capacity of the card.

HC cards are 4 to 32GB

XC cards available now are 64 to 200GB

You do not have to use an XC card

Hi, VINJACKS15. If they had sent you a replacement SIM, you have to use it because the old SIM might be deactivated soon. The Lumia 950 device supports SDXC 3.01 standard compliant cards. If your old SD card is not at the same standard, it may not work on the device.

Should i take out my micro sd card out + put that in the windows phone? Are they compatible?

Although they are compatible, I would go for a new microSD which is U3 labeled – just to leverage the full speed potential of your Lumia 950. If you go for your old microSD, please, format it via Windows 10 Mobile » All apps » Settings » System » Storage » SD » Format (at the very bottom).
