I am getting very long boots times with machine sitting on the windows logo for a considerable period of time.  When I check the Diagnostics-Performance log there are show shutdown events 200 and 203 , which is obviously impossible since I just booted.

The two most recent are

Event ID 203

In order to diagnose your problem we need to run Windows performance toolkit the instructions for which can be found in this wiki

If you have any questions feel free to ask

Please run the trace when you are experiencing the problem

Since yours is a boot issue use that configuration
