HKShip.exe has stopped working with Sleeping Dogs game on Windows 10

Original title: Sleeping Dogs : Stopped Working Error

I Bought this game yesterday and Installed it with high hopes as it would run .

But,as soon as i started the game it Crashed.

I Already have tried running the program in compatibility mode and i have already have turned on DEP for this program but it still crashed .

Microsoft Please Help me with this.

    To assist you better please provide us below details:

    1. What is the Make and model of your computer?
    2. Did you purchased the game from windows store?
    3. Are you able to play any other games on the system?

    Let us try basic troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.

    Step 1: If you are downloading from the website, I suggest you to go to game developer website, check if there are any updated patches found for the game.

    If the issue still persist,

    Step 2: I request you to uninstall/reinstall the Sleeping Dogs game. Please follow below steps to uninstall the application

    1. On the Start menu, select Settings.
    2. Select System > Apps & features.
    3. Select the program, then select Uninstall.
    4. Follow the directions on the screen.

    I already have tried reinstalling the game but there is still Crashing .

    Hi,

    To assist you better please provide us more information from last response.

    Hkship.Exe error is the Hexadecimal format of the error caused. It is caused by misconfigured system files in your Windows operating system.

    I suggest you to download and install all the driver updates on your device including DirectX and check if it helps.

    And also perform SFC scan to repair corrupted and system files. Please click on below  link to perform SFC scan.
