- Which anti-virus is installed on the computer? Bitdefender
- What is exact error code you get when you plugged the iPhone and iPad?
There is no error code, but it simply does not recognize the device. It doesn't appear in either iTunes or in the Windows Explorer folder under Computer.
Additionally, when I'm in iTunes and attempt to connect to the internet via the Match tab, the following message appears "iTunes could not connect to the iTunes Store. Make sure your network connection is active and try again". My computer was fully connected to the internet at the time without any error messages.
Step 1
- Ran and successfully fixed some other issues I had but it did not flag anything with my iPad
Step 2
Method 1
- Would not run, gave me the following error: Troubleshooting cannot continue because an error has occured (Code 80072EE7)
Method 2
- Followed all instructions, iTunes will still not recognize the iPad
Step 3
- I was not setup to run a Proxy server, so this step just confirmed I didn't have the box checked
Step 4
- Conducted a clean boot and iTunes still would not recognize iPad
