My HP printer appear as "unspecified" in Printers and Devices
Original Title: why does my HP printer appear as "unspecified" in Printers and Devices?
Running Windows 7 64 and my puter recognizes my printer as "unspecified" device under devices and printers, thus I am unable to check it as my default printer. How can I fix this? Thanks to anyone who can help.

2016-06-02T14:54:12+00:00 In the "unspecified" area, when you right click on the printer, there is no option to remove or delete. The only options are: Create Shortcut, Troubleshoot, and Properties. Everyone who says right click and remove or delete is wrong.
