    Hi,

Direct3D 11 is out and ready for use by your game today to exploit the latest in video hardware features as well as current generation machines. This brings you up to speed with the API, offers tips on how your renderer up and running, presents key features overviews, and show how to deploy your application. Attending this talk is highly recommended if you are attending other Direct 11 presentations.

Refer the link to download direct 11.

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/download/details.aspx?id=17431

There is not stand alone package for directx 11, on Windows 10. It will get installed through Windows updates.

Also, try installing the all the available updates in the system and check if helps.

    Follow the below steps:

    • Type settings in the search area on the taskbar and select Settings.
    • Select update and Security.
    • Click on Windows Update and select Check for Updates

I hope the information is helpful.

    Thank you.

No. The HD 5xxx series (f.i. HD 5200) is the first to support DX 11.

"I have windows 10 but I still have directx 10.1"

What brand and model graphics processor does your machine have ?

Win 10 reports the DX level your graphics processor is capable of using.

You cannot run DX11 effects on any version of Windows if you don't have a suitable gpu.
