I had the same troubles when using the adapter, erratic pointer and pointer stopping at times! Yet worked fine with battery. After plugging laptop into an outlet that had 3 outlets on that breaker, then unplugging cords from other 2 outlets, (eliminating “ground loop”), laptop worked great!

I noticed similar complaints with laptop, only theirs was with noise from their music, like bus and hum causes by “ground loop”, (whatever that is). Their fix was mine also. Goal was for ground not to be interfered with other devices on other outlets using the same breaker. Or even a lot of ground connections. Nope, not a true fix, but knowing laptops can be sensitive to ground loops may help. Their fix was to buy or made “suppressor” between outlet and adapter. Mine, a non “ground loop” outlet.

    YourTube...”Hum Suppressor”, or https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4famaQmWnA.

    Hi Naresh,

Thank you for letting us know about the issue you're having with the touch pad when the laptop is being charged. We would recommend that you contact your laptop manufacturer because the issue is possibly on the hardware since it does not occur when the laptop is not charging.

Let us know if you need further assistance and we'll be glad to help you.

    Regards,

    Brian Cab

This should be a driver issue. You can check for driver updates (especially for the touchpad) from Lenovo support website.
