    Hi,

Please answer these questions in order to understand the issue better:

    a)      What is the name of the game?

    b)      Is the game compatible with Windows 8?

    c)       Dose the issue occur with specific game?

    d)      What is the complete .DLL error message?

    e)      Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling the Game?

A DLL is a library that contains code and data that can be used by more than one program at the same time. The program may not run if one of the following actions occurs:

    • A dependent DLL is upgraded to a new version.
    • A dependent DLL is missing or corrupted.
    • A dependent DLL is overwritten with an earlier version.

These actions are generally known as DLL conflicts. If backward compatibility is not enforced, the program may not successfully run. Try these methods:

Please provide us exact .dll missing error, so that we can identify the exact cause of the issue. Meanwhile you may try these steps and check if it helps:

Step 1: Try uninstalling and reinstalling the game and check. Most of the .dll errors are fixed by reinstalling the program.

Step 2: Since you mentioned, you were facing similar issue on previous version of Windows. The game setup file might have been corrupted. Try installing the game on another computer. If issue persists, you need to contact the game vendor to fix the issue.

Step 3: I would suggest you to run System File Checker tool (SFC.exe) and check if it helps. The System File Checker tool (SFC.exe) scans for missing or corrupted system files and repairs them.

Run System File checker to see if you have any corrupted system files.

Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files
