BFME 2 won't work on Windows 10

I have installed Battle for Middle Earth 2 on my Alienware (X51 R2) with Windows 10, and it won't work. Every time I double click on the game, it gets me to the loading screen and I'm there for eternity. My mouse will say its loading, but after bringing up the task manager (usually ten minutes later) I am told that it is not responding. I have tried running it in different compatibility modes (XP, Vista, 7+8), I have tried entering the options.ini file, and I have checked for updates on the game as well as my PC. I love this game but nothing is working to fix it, despite the millions of posts there are about fixing it.

    Hi,

    Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. It's possible that your display drivers are outdated, so I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the latest display drivers and check. To do so, follow these steps:

    1. Press Windows + X, click on Device Manager.
    2. Expand Display adapter, right click on device and select Uninstall.
    3. Now, restart the computer and the display drivers will be installed automatically.

    If the issue persist, try uninstalling the game and re-install it.
