I am receiving error at startup stating:

The program can't start because shutil.dll is missing from your computer.  Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.  Only it does not reference which program.  At the top of the error box   it calls out   shstat.exe - System Error

Thanks

Do you have any McAfee program installed?  If so, which one?

Shutil.dll and Shstat.exe are components of McAfee VirusScan Enterprise, which normally would only be installed in a corporate environment.  You should ask your company's tech support department for help.

That confirms my thoughts.  It is a Corp PC and McAfee load.  I have a service request in to reinstall McAfee to see if that will overlay the missing dll

Thank you for your speedy advise.
