Windows XP Service Pack 4

Where can I get an official version of WINXP SP4, which should contain all the updates for XP up to the time that support was discontinued? Why was the XP update site removed? How can I restore all the XP updates after a serious disk failure? I continue to use XP because I do not want to fill up the landfill with perfectly good products because no drivers are available for the newer versions of Windows.

There is no official Sp-4.  You can Google the un-official versions.  As you mentioned support for XP has expired.

Agree. They should at least gave us XP fans a SP4 send off. And also DirectX 10. But they're not that generous.

Microsoft should treat its customers better than that!

the update site is still up, what errors are you getting that you cannot access this site??

if you can get acronis and create an image of your xp once it is fully updated and set to how you want it, then you will not have to worry about updates.

the unofficial sp4s install a lot of optional updates that you might not want, that is why I do not install them, I use portable updateto download all updates and then use portable update to install all of them offline.
