I followed the article by Gareth Gudger on how to renew a certificate and now have two valid duplicate Godaddy SSL Certs with different expiring dates. (The new certificate shows up in the personal store with the key) I think I can now edit the new SSL cert using EAC, add the services of IIS and SMTP, save it, and then reboot IIS if necessary. My question is this: With this being our only production exchange server, If something goes wrong, can I just go back to the old Godaddy Cert (it has 20+ days left on it. ) by selecting it and adding the IIS and SMTP service if they are unchecked.

Yes you may use the old certificate by assigning the services to it.
As long as the old certificate is valid, it should work fine for you.

2021-05-28T10:18:49.317+00:00 Thank you for responding so quickly! One last question. Do I need to go into IIS, edit the HTTPS bindings, and select the new certificate or will simply checking the IIS services in the EAC select the correct certificate?
