MULTIPLE MONITORS - How do I get the same slide show picture to show up on both monitors at the same time, and to change pictures on both monitors at the exact same time?

I went to Appearance and Personalization and I downloaded a theme for my desktop background that has 15 pictures.  I have the slide show set up so the picture changes every 10 minutes, and the pictures are set to shuffle.  I want this to work as it did in my Windows 7, namely, when the picture changes, it changes on both monitors to the same picture on both monitors, and the change happened at the same exact time. I was able to get this to happen in Windows 7, but now in Windows 8, each of my monitors displays a different picture, and the pictures change on each monitor at different times.  This is very distracting and not very attractive.  I just want both monitors to display the same exact picture, and when the picture changes, I want it to change on both monitors at the same exact time.  This worked flawlessly on Windows 7.  How do I get this to work this way in Windows 8?  Thanks.

I ran across this problem as well. Windows 10 won't allow the slideshow to show the same picture on each monitor. Weird thing is, if you right click and select show next picture it will change each monitor one at a time. So the first click changed the first monitor, second the second, third the first etc.. no solution.

    Then I found this.

Works perfectly and shows the same slideshow image on both monitors. Plus it has options to add images from online accounts as well.. truly an amazing little piece of software and well worth donating to.

Hallelujah - this works! Worth a donation.

We need further assistance. This issue is coming up again as I am one of the many people who are moving from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and miss having dual monitors show the same picture at the same time while still using the slideshow feature to change pictures every so often.

Even if my assumption is correct that Windows 8 and 10 makes this no longer possible, it would be nice to get an official response from Windows Tech Support.

I would like to configure the tow monitors to have two different slideshows. The link mentions it, but does not explain how to do it. I have tried all settings, but I only get the same slideshow, on both monitors. Please help. Mary

Just change the picture position to tile. This worked for me at least. (Didn't actually think this would do the trick but tried it anyway because I was hopeless)

This worked for me.  Go to your settings (right click on the desktop, click personalize).  In the Background tab, select Tile under the drop down box "choose a fit".  It now shows the same image on both monitors and changes them at the same time.
