Hi,

I  cannot see any display on my computer when I access the Control Panel.

It says 'There are no items to display'

How can I make the items appear?

Looking forward to your prompt response.

    Hi,

Try this :  click on start and in the search box type     gpedit.msc     which will take you to the group policy editor.

Now go to User Configuration > Administrative templates > Control Panel

In the windows on the right, double-click "Show only specified Control Panel Items"

In the new Window mark disabled then click on Apply and OK

Now see if the control panel works, or restart computer and see if works.

    Let me know,

    David

    Hi Cozy,

Try to ckeck out this link and see if it helps. The gpedit.msc doesn't work on your system because it is probably the Home edition which doesn't have the group policy editor.

    Hi David,

    Thank you for the reply.

When I type gpedit.mscon the search bar it states: 'No items match your search'. Why is that?

    Best,

    Cozy
