Is my motherboard compatible with Windows 10?

Hello, about a year ago, I upgraded to Windows 10 for free but experienced many troubles and the bottom line was that my motherboard isn't compatible with Windows 10.

It has been, about a year now and I'm wondering if things have changed. I don't have any REAL desire to get Windows 10 but for a few mundane reasons, I wish to try it out again.

My motherboard, is an Asus P5KPL-AM . Click here to see it...

I'd very much appreciate it that only people who have evidence tell me that it is compatible or not, rather than just saying or/and assuming it is.

I don't know where you're getting an i7 CPU from, my PC has an Intel Core 2 Quad in it.

Any way, I shall check out Intel.

Actually a I7 processor should be ok with Win 10,its all about processor capabilities,& yours is in

    that area..With Win 10,& youre pc mfg (intel),go to intel.com/support/software-driver updates.Either

    run the intel-update utility,or download center/chipset software,see if Win 10 updates are available,the

manual search requires knowlege of youre pc hardware-controllers.That is in device mgr, system.

Dont forget,a OS upgrade isnt as effective as a OS clean install done thru DOS..

Hardware manufacturers are responsible for providing drivers, not Microsoft.  With potentially millions of different devices, how could it be otherwise?

I don't know why, if your MB wasn't compatible a year ago, you would think something magic happened and it would be compatible now.  If Asus has no Windows 10 drivers, that's the end of the story.

I see what you are saying but no need to be rude about it.

I was thinking that after about a year went by, then possibly support would come into play.
