When trying to install Samsung Smart Switch on my laptop, I get the message: "Ordinal 12404 could not be located in dynamic link library mfc90u.dll." Is there a way around this, please?

I downloaded Smart switch pc setup. After trying to run this program I got the above error. I tried restarting my computer, then tried to run the setup file again. I got the same error message
I saw a link in another post but the link would not open. the post was from 2014. what can I do to fix this error message.
What do you suggest i do to fix this?
