PowerShell v1.0 for WinXP

I need to download a copy of PowerShell 1.0 to install on an old XP PC, but the Microsoft download page says "We are sorry, the page you requested cannot be found.". I know there are a large number of other sites where I could download it from, but would prefer an "official"  download.

    for XP is PowerShell 2.0 and you can download it directly from Windows Update, or manually by KB968930.

    They move most of their update to the catalog site now:

    https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com

    You can try to use Microsoft Update instead of windows update. Or try windows catalog.
