It truly is at C:\Windows\Fonts.  You can also type "Fonts" into the Run box.

    Only for Windows 7 .....

First Save the TTF (file extension/type for the font) file on your hard drive. (leave the folder window open where you save this file)

Then Click on start and go to your control panel

    Click on Appearances and personalization

Scroll right to the bottom and click on fonts

Now you have a window displaying all the fonts currently installed on your computer (leave this window open)

Now open the folder where you previously saved your TTF file for the font which you wanted to install....

Simply drag and drop it in the Font folder that you opened via control panel and it'll automatically start installing it.

    That's it !!

Actually I have the same thing, there is no 'fonts' section there.

This shouldn't matter though, download the font wherever. It will probably be a .zip file, extract it and click on the font. It should come up with a sample box that says "The quick brown fox..." a few times to show the font. Above that is an "install" button. Click it and it will install itself in the appropriate place in your computer.

Simple Right click on *.ttf file (-s) and chose Install. You dont need to worry where Fonts exactly are ;).

Doesn't help, though, if you are creating your own fonts and need to know where to access and save them.

I followed the above file path and did indeed find it pretty easily. Maybe your folder settings need to be changed to see hidden folders?
