Lego Star Wars The Video Game doesn't work

Hello,

On windows 10 and windows 7 the game Lego Star Wars The Video Game; On both OS, installs but is unable to run:

  • On w10, there is the loading logo for 3 seconds but nothing happens even by starting it under another version of windows (xp sp3, vista, etc ...) nothing is done even by starting it with the admin rights.

-On w7 it's the same (also with the compatibility options to change version of windows and admin rights) but it also displays the message "the required security module can not be Activated, this program can not be executed ".

On the side of the second opus (Lego Star Wars II The Original Trilogy), it works very well under w10.

Would anyone have a solution to make it work with or without disk?

Thanks.

    Hello,

    sorry for the answer time;

the DEP and changing OS didn't changed anything.

For Lego Star Wars II, I remember that it worked with the disk and only then I got the no-CD patch for it and it worked perfectly.

So because Lego Star Wars I didn't even worked with the CD, I decided to take the no-CD patch anyway; I tried on your site, it don't work .ZIPd is a strange format; so I went to GamesCopyWorld like I did for Lego Star Wars II and this one worked perfectly.

Thanks for sharing me the no-CD patch idea, I think that I wasn't going to even try puting the patch before the game actually worked.

*By the way I play them on windows 10 now.

If that game is an older software, then on the start-up icon,R.click on it/properties/compatability tab/select older

    Win OS,exit,retry the run icon.

    • If a compatibility setting were to help  XP sp2 would be the best option.

You could also try disabling DEP .

    • Go to Control Panel > System.
    • Click on Advanced System Settings .

In the Advanced tab click on Settings in Performance.

    • Click on Data Execution Prevention.

Click  on  - Add -  to add an exception.

Browse to the folder you have the game installed to and select the games executable ( .exe )

    Click on OK .

"the required security module can not be Activated"

Assuming you are talking about the disk based version  of Lego Star Wars: The Video Game...

It may be an issue with the games copy protection - SecuROM.  SecuROM was one of several DRM that

caused problems with games. Some versions of SecuROM are not compatible with 64bit Windows,

This game was released in '05. '04 > '06 were particularly bad years for DRM issues such as this.

If you are using the disk based version there may be a patch you can download from Edios which may fix anySecuROM problems. If not, a noCD fix/hack should do the trick.

noCD fixes can be found at the site below -

on w10 still don't even launch,

on w7 still say the message on every OS.
