Since the update failed to download and install on the computer, it can cause the issue. We suggest that you follow the steps on the solutions provided on this link: Fix Windows Update errors.

Once the computer is updated, download and install the Xbox Identity Provider again.

Thank you for your prompt response. Upon checking the error code, this may mean that there is an issue with your profile while signing in to Xbox Live. To further isolate your concern, we need to gather more details about the issue so we can provide you an appropriate solution. Kindly answer the following questions:

    • Are you experiencing the same issue using a different profile?
    • Were you able to download the Xbox Identity Provider on the same computer before?
    • Does the same issue occur on your other apps?

We will appreciate if you can provide us a screenshot of the error message.

    Hi,

There are several reasons why you are experiencing this issue. It is possible that you are receiving not enough internet connection on your device or your profile is unable to connect to Xbox Live. However, we can resolve this by updating the Xbox App.

To do this, follow the steps below:

    1. Click start, and then type Windows PowerShell on the search box.
    2. Right-click, and then select Run as administrator.
    3. Type the following command to uninstall Windows Store: Get-AppxPackage *xboxapp* | Remove-AppxPackage
    4. Hit Enter.
    5. Launch Windows Store again and download Xbox App.

We will appreciate if you can update us the results so if these solutions won't work, we will find another way to resolve your concern.
