I have a number of pictures that I want to post and need to pixilate some of the faces before I do?  I use Windows 8.1.

I want to do the work on my computer and not on my phone

thanks!

I take it you need to blur the faces for protection of privacy of the individuals - so it doesn't need to be pixilation as such... is that correct? You can achieve that result in Paint... confirm and I'll guide you... Ric.

Hi Tamara - really all you need to do in 'Paint' is zoom right in on the face - use the select/rectangle tool to copy/paste a small portion from the face area. Click copy then paste... the segment will appear top left - drag the side and base out (you'll see a single arrow to drag when the cursor is placed in the centre of the line) until its about the same size as the full face and then drag the whole thing over to cover the face.

I did this earlier to a Doors album cover just to demonstrate (sorry Doors guys!) - anonymity guaranteed!

Or more simply - you could just use the eraser tool - but that may spoil the overall look more. Cheers, Ric.

You can download GIMP, which is a free alternative to Photoshop. There's also a tutorial that shows you how to pixelate images using the GIMP tool that you can reference which will step you through the process.
