Whatsapp stuck on loading screen - Windows phone 10

hi i recently updated whatsapp on my phone and now its stuck on loading screen even though i restarted and hard reset my phone. Any suggestion to solve this issue.

    Hi,

    Come on, this answer is too easy (but thanks for answering!). This problem appears on Whatsapp, but also on other apps.

    As far as I'm concerned, I got the same problem since two days, with many apps: Whatsapp, Fidme, Marmiton, ING bank, CIC bank, Caisse d'Epargne bank, MeteoFrance, Camscanner, Nokians, Tricount... and I didn't try all of the others.

    They say "loading ..." (other just show the loading picture) but never start.

    Any idea?

    I am having the exact same issue. I am on Fast ring.

    There might be other Apps that are having the same behavior.

    I know WhatsApp uses Silverlight. Is it silverlight that is broken?

    I got it working only after using WDRT and then reinstalling WhatsApp.

    Make sure to backup the settings, text messages etc before nuking the phone.
