Original Diablo game compatiablity to windows 10

I have all of the Diablo series of games.  I do not like Diablo II, III, etc.  I only want to play the Original Diablo.  However, it won't play on my Windows 10 PC.  Are there versions of Diablo that are compatible with Windows 10?

    Diablo was released in '96 and I assume it is DOS based. If so it would need to be run through DOS BOX.

    This would apply to any Windows from Vista on .

    • D-Fend is a user interface for DOS BOX. DOX BOX is included in the download.

    • If the game is DirectX based you may be able to find a fix on a Diablo fan site. This is the case with Diablo ll,

    which requires some fixes to run properly from Win7 (maybe Vista ? ) on.

    • Good old Games is the best source for easy to install DOS games, but unfortunately they don't have Diablo.
