Can't play local wifi race in asphalt 8

I and my friend both have same version of asphalt 8 and windows on their PC and we bot are connected to same wifi router but still we 're unable to play local wifi race ....it doesn't detect other player...Any tips

    Had the same issue with myself and my husband's game: we both have the same version of Asphalt 8 playing on windows10 laptops.

    Solved it by setting up a private network with a homegroup (a windows feature - which in itself caused a bit of trouble - many windows services needed to be auto-enabled and other network settings checked- however, how to create and join a windows homegroup is well described elsewhere and not necessarily difficult!)

    Once both computers where joined to the homegroup, we were able to create and join our own local wi-fi races in Asphalt 8.
