The following are the minimum requirements for running FSX-Steam.   So comparing with your information, it looks like it will run but you will certainly not get good performance from the Sim.   As well, you will not be able to add on any payware aircraft/scenery as that will require a better graphics card and more processing power.   You may need to first put all your settings to the lowest and then slowly increase them until performance drops.

If you're wanting to upgrade your computer in the future, your minimum processor clock speed should be 3.4 Ghz and over (maybe with a slight overclock to 3.8 Ghz) and a later version of Nvidia card.   You've bought a good Sim - just try loading it and see if there's any problems.   Shutting off UAC and Anti-virus temporarily will help with installation from your media.

    SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

    MINIMUM:
    - OS: Windows® XP Service Pack 2 or later - Processor: 2.0 Ghz or higher (single core) - Memory: 2 GB RAM - Graphics: DirectX®9 compliant video card or greater, 256 MB video RAM or higher, Shader Model 1.1 or higher (Laptop versions of these chipsets may work but are not supported. Updates to your video and sound card drivers may be required) - DirectX: Version 9.0c - Network: Broadband Internet connection - Storage: 30 GB available space - Additional Notes: Broadband internet connection required for multiplayer features

I can understand your nervousness about a possible crash to your laptop.   There's no easy answer to give you in this situation, except to do a backup first of everything, especially important documents, photos, emails, etc.   Then go ahead and install your FSX-SE (I assume you've saved it on a DVD/flash drive after downloading it).

The install should go ahead and if anything, an error message could come up if your system doesn't meet any requirement.   Crashes and problems can occur when loading a flight and going on a flight.   We have all faced these, as FSX is quite finnicky and demanding on resources (though the Steam Edition is supposedly a more stable and advanced version of FSX).   This is why, on a mediocre computer it is best to make sure that all your drivers are up to date and you have defragged your disk and once FSX-SE is installed, use minimum settings (which I can explain later).

So it's your decision to install or not - if it was me, I would go ahead with the install and have done a good backup of everything first.

    All the best.

No I still didn't install FSX Stream Edition on my laptop because I am getting scared that may be my laptop might get crashed. Because before installing I saw many reviews from different people about FSX on Microsoft community. I saw many people with different errors while playing FSX on PC. So I got the fear that what if the same thing happens with my laptop also. So what should I do now???

    😊😊😊

Okay, have you installed FSX onto your HDD?   After installation, have you tried launching it to the Main Menu stage and then taken a flight?   If all that takes place, then observe from a flight what the shortcomings are (both on the ground and in the air).   Things such as stutters, pauses (long or short), blurry graphics, freezes, CTD (crash to desktop), BSOD, etc.

Let me know what you observe as it is difficult from here to know what you are seeing.   I have a basic setup for FSX (not Steam) (3.4 Ghz (8 cpus), I7 2600, 8 Gb Ram, Nvidia GTX 580), and I can only just manage to get by with careful adjustments.   Ideally, you should have 3.8 Ghz plus, latest Nvidia card for a laptop, 8-16 Gb Ram, so your set up, especially on a laptop, is below par for FSX.   But it should run with some tweaking.

Let me know about a flight you take for 30 minutes or more and I can then advise further.

From your suggestions I understood what you told. And thanks for the system requirements. But can you tell me the areas where I can improve my PC to work my Microsoft FSX perfectly??? Because after seeing the system requirements I didn't find any area where my PC is lacking with except for graphics. Anyways can you tell me???
