Hi,

Following MS documentation , to setup bookmarks, homepage and whitelisted urls for iOS & Android (enrolled in Intune), it is done via General App Configurations scenarios.

To do that 2 requirements:

1- Edge for iOS and Android has an Intune App Protection Policy applied to the work or school account that is signed into the app

2- The policy settings are delivered only through a managed apps App Configuration Policy.

IAP is deployed for Edge app to my account (verified on App reporting)

Creating a managed App configuration policy: you have 2 parts: "General configuration settings" & "Edge configurations settings"

Test 1:

Edge configuration settings with "Homepage shortcut URL" with value "https://www.microsoft.com/"

I sign in Edge with my work account + IAP was ok but no homepage

Test 2:

"General configuration settings" with "com.microsoft.intune.mam.managedbrowser.homepage" + value "https://www.microsoft.com/"

=> failed

Test 3:

As the bundle is is not longer intune.mam.managedbrowser but msedge, i tried another settings.

"General configuration settings" with "com.microsoft.msedge.homepage" + value "https://www.microsoft.com/"

=> failed

Test 4:

Edge configuration settings with "Managed bookmarks" with value "MS|https://www.microsoft.com"

=> failed

How today with Edge as managed browser to deploy bookmarks, homepage & whitelist urls with EDGE on iOS/Android devices enrolled in Intune MEM?

Thanks for your support

    Thanks for your reply.

    I follow your idea about bug.
    Because reading a lot of article, on Edge settings, it is very simple to setup.
    Maybe since the removal of Intune Managed Browser replaced by Edge, something goes wrong....

    In the meantime I found a solution to manage bookmark and whitelist urls on IOS: via the configuration profile "Device Features: web content filter - specify websites only" using Safari browser only.
    I tested and it works :-)

    Thanks for your feedback.

    All settings mentioned under Administrative Templates are applicable to Windows OS.

    To setup bookmark, whitelisted App on iOS, it seems it has to be done under App configuration Policies (MEM Admin Center).

    My case focuses on iOS corporate devices.
