Hello all, I am trying to play Age of Empires 3 on my laptop but it does not have CD hardware on my laptop.

So I used other computer to copy the files to my flash drive and then my laptop.

Now, how do I play the game with the files since it's asking me to insert the CD when I click the game icon.

I wonder if you copy the files from the CD, which would include the disk check DRM that don't get installed

to the games install folder, to the flash drive if  it will be recognised as a CD ?

You may also need to retrieve some Registry keys the game may have made when installing on your~~~~desktop machine, and merge them into the laptops Registry ?

EDIT:  Nah! That won't work. Because of the way the DRM is implemented on the disk you would need special

hacker software...  Just grab a noCD fix/hack from  --here--   and you'll be good to go.

btw - If you have not patched the game do so, and us a noCD that suits the version you patch to.
